How can I use the topic of sustainability for my company?

Our doors are open to you at all times during opening hours (Monday - Friday, 8 am to 6 pm). In order to prepare for your individual tour and to be able to give you our full attention, it is advisable to make an appointment and provide approximate details of your wishes in advance. Can I come by spontaneously or do I need an appointment?

You can pay on site by EC card, credit card (Master Card, VISA, American Express). In our online booking, we also offer you the option of paying with Paypal or Apple Pay.  

Which payment methods are possible?

Our locations are accessible to clients with private offices or [Fix Desk](https://www.designoffices.de/en/coworking-spaces/fix-desk) at all times (24 hours a day, 7 days a week, including weekends and public holidays). The opening hours from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. indicate the times at which the common areas of the location are open and when our staff is on site, for example, to carry out inspections, to receive external clients for the meeting room or to process enquiries. Rooms for events can, of course, also be rented until after 6 pm.

What are the opening hours? And what does 24/7 access mean? 

According to the house rules, pets are not allowed, but exceptions can be discussed in individual cases. 

Is it permitted to bring dogs?

Was bedeutet Fair-Use-Policy?

We are happy to receive your parcels for you in a normal size. If you wish to receive many or large parcels, please first coordinate this with our reception staff. 

Can I have parcels delivered to the location? 

Furniture (height-adjustable desk, ergonomic chair with armrests, trolley, wastebasket with residual waste bin, whiteboard, office shelf) is available as standard in your office space - but depends on structural conditions in the respective location. Also included is a professional reception team, mail handling, secure technology, high-speed WiFi, utilities, cleaning, maintenance, use of the business address, use of the communal kitchen and bike fleet, 24/7 access, as well as unlimited free access to our network of DO.Lounges - all at a simple all-inclusive price. 

What is included as standard? 

You can add access to printers and scanners, full call handling, mail forwarding, catering, fully personalised [offices](https://www.designoffices.de/en/office-spaces), furniture and equipment and further use of the conference and meeting room. 

Which services are offered separately? 

We know that small businesses often don't want to commit for a long period of time. With our flexible contracts, you can book the space for exactly the period that suits you: from a few weeks to a few months. We also offer coworking spaces, where you only pay for what you need when you need it. 

I don't want to commit to long terms. Can I still get office space for my team? 

All our [offices](https://www.designoffices.de/en/office-spaces) include ergonomic furniture. However, we know how important it is to create a place that exudes the company's identity. You can customise the space with your own logos or opt for a bespoke solution with a [custom office](https://www.designoffices.de/en/office-spaces/work-loft). With this option, you can choose the interior design and furniture to perfectly match your unique business and culture. 

Can the offices be given their own touch or must existing decorative elements & furniture be used?

Yes. With our coworking spaces, you and your team can work without restrictions. A private office is waiting for you wherever you are needed. Simply opt for the working landscape as you need it. 

We work in different locations. Can I book office space wherever I need it? 

Yes, long-term contracts are also available with us. Depending on the length of the term, there are even discounts.  

Are long-term contracts available?

At each location we have [offices](https://www.designoffices.de/en/office-spaces) of various sizes, including entire floors for large companies. Depending on the length of the contract and the number of people, very individually adapted, tailor-made solutions are possible. Even conversions are no obstacle for us. 

Are there also offices for large teams?  

For a one-time set-up fee and a monthly fee, you can get your own landline number including telephone and flat rate to all German networks.  

Are there telephone connection facilities? 

All our members pay a deposit of three months' gross rent.  

How much deposit do I have to pay? 

You receive one key per workstation so that every employee has free access. Additional keys can be purchased on request with a one-off set-up fee. Depending on the location, you get access via a classic key-lock principle, or via a card reading system. 

How do I get access to my office and how many keys do I get? 

Bringing in your own electronic devices other than screens is not permitted according to our General Terms and Conditions. Please contact us individually if required.  

Printers - can I also bring my own? 

[Coworking](https://www.designoffices.de/en/coworking-spaces) means a desk - or several desks - for you and your team in a shared work environment. This can be in an open-plan office surrounded by other business people or in a space you share with other businesses. If you want your own private office for you and your team, choose [office space](https://www.designoffices.de/en/office-spaces). In all our locations we offer both. So you can choose the option that best suits your team. 

What is the difference between a coworking space and office space? 

Included in your coworking desk space is a professional reception team, mail handling, high-speed WiFi, cleaning, maintenance, use of the business address, use of the shared kitchen, and unlimited free access to our global network of DO.Lounges - all for one simple all-inclusive price. 

If you need a workplace for a day, you can simply drop by spontaneously. If you want to rent a day office for a day, we recommend booking it online in advance. 

Can I drop in spontaneously or do I have to book the workplace in advance? 

Bringing in your own electronic devices other than screens is not permitted according to our General Terms and Conditions. Please contact us individually if required. Alternatively, you can use our shared printer for printing, copying and scanning.  

Can I set up my own printer and desktop? 

For the [Fix Desk](https://www.designoffices.de/en/coworking-spaces/fix-desk) we charge three gross monthly rent deposit. You do not need to pay a deposit for our day pass.

Do I have to pay a deposit for my workplace? 

As soon as you sign a contract for a [Fix Desk](https://www.designoffices.de/en/coworking-spaces/fix-desk) with us, you will receive a key for the building and the coworking zone so that you have access at all times. For all other coworking offers, you will not receive a key. 

Do I get a key when I rent a workplace? 

Yes, all meeting rooms are available for booking by the hour online and via app. 

Can I use meeting rooms if needed? 

If you come by for a day, you can pay on site by EC card, credit card or also cash. As a contract customer, you can pay either by bank transfer or direct debit. 

How can I pay for my job? 

Short calls can be made in the communal area. For all slightly longer calls or conference calls, we have telephone booths that you are welcome to use.

Can I make a phone call in the coworking? 

A virtual office is not a full-time workplace for your company. With our virtual office solutions, you register your business at one of our offices and your company benefits from a prestigious address in a leading location. If you need a physical place to work, you can always add a coworking space. 

Is a virtual office a physical place? 

If you use our mail forwarding service, you can have your mail sent to you daily, weekly or monthly instead of collecting it in person. 

How often is my mail forwarded? 

Whether you have a private office, a Fix Desk or a Virtual Office, it is possible to register your limited company under the address of the Design Offices location without any problems, as you can use this as the official company address.

Is it possible to register a GmbH at the address of the Virtual Office location? 

We offer a variety of room sizes. We can accommodate groups of almost any size on request. 

How many people are meeting and conference rooms suitable for? 

Upon your booking, we can ensure that your guests are provided with food or drinks - or provide drinks and snacks. Our on-site team can also arrange catering to suit your requirements - please inform us at least 24 hours before your meeting.

Are drinks or catering offered? 

You can arrive on the day of the meeting at any time during opening hours and wait and work in the reception area and DO.Lounge. If there are no previous bookings, you may be able to book the room earlier. Just speak to the reception team at your chosen location. 

How long before the meeting can I or can my guests arrive on site? 

If the meeting or conference room is not booked after you, you can use it within the opening hours for as long as you like. We will update the time used and the cost.  

What if my meeting takes longer or I need the room longer? 

Our meeting rooms can be booked by both tenants and external parties at any time online or directly at reception. 

How does booking a conference room work? Can external parties also book the room? 

Up to the 14th * (28th)** calendar day before the agreed start of the event, the customer shall pay no remuneration; - Up to the 7th * (14th)** calendar day before the agreed start of the event, the customer shall pay 50% of the agreed remuneration; - Up to the 3rd * (7th)** calendar day before the agreed start of the event, the customer shall pay 70% of the agreed remuneration. - In the event of cancellation at a later date, the entire remuneration shall be charged. 

For events with an agreed remuneration of less than EUR 5,000.00 plus VAT. ** For events with an agreed remuneration of more than EUR 5,000.00 plus VAT, the deadlines in brackets apply. 

What are the cancellation policies? 

At Design Offices, we collectively value our environment, sustainability and regionality. We prioritize climate neutrality through partnership with Climate Extender as well as continuous monitoring of our CO₂ emissions according to "Greenhouse Gas Protocol" standards and implement measures for an emission-free future, certified by TÜV. Our sites are also mainly located in revitalized buildings with certified solutions for a more sustainable future. For example, many of our locations have LEED Gold certification - representing green building. Since January 2021, Design Offices has exclusively used green electricity from 100% renewable sources and actively supports low-emission energy use. To minimize our electricity consumption, we use only LED lights and motion sensors to ensure that light only burns where it is needed. At all locations, we work with our customers to ensure consistent waste separation in order to save energy and resources every day. In addition, our bike fleet offers customers and employees a flexible and emission-free mobility solution directly from the office.
